Jewish Insider is a curated digest and news site delivering U.S. politics and business news to a network of civic and communal leaders from across the ideological spectrum. In addition to coalescing an otherwise segmented community each day, we see news as an opportunity to introduce new ideas, initiatives and individuals to our network of leaders.

We are looking for freelance writers who can profile emerging leaders and voices in an engaging manner that leaves our readers with a real sense of the individual subject and the efforts they are pursuing. This includes social entrepreneurs, political candidates, startup founders and activists. While our core staff is based in DC and New York, we are interested in profiling individuals throughout the country and as such intend to engage a network of freelancers to help. 

Profiles should run between 1,000-1,400 words.
