J Street has partnered with Crooked Media, a political media company founded by former Obama administration officials, ahead of its annual national conference set to take place on October 26-29 in Washington, D.C.

On Thursday, J Street announced that former Obama administration national security officials, Ben Rhodes and Tommy Vietor, will do a live podcast taping of their foreign policy-focused podcast “Pod Save the World” at the conference.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Crooked Media to make this year’s J Street Conference a platform for candidates and policymakers to discuss the future of American leadership in the Middle East,” J Street President Jeremy Ben-Ami said in a statement.

In recent months, J Street has been targeting the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates to make them reconsider their alliance with AIPAC and lobbying them to express their support in favor of re-entering the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran. In comments to The New York Times in March, Rhodes bemoaned that “the Washington view of Israel-Palestine is still shaped by the donor class.”
