Rubio Runs on NYC Donors

Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio is returning to New York for yet another high-dollar fundraiser next Tuesday, according to an invitation obtained by Jewish Insider.

The $2,700-per-person lunch will take place on the 43rd floor of the Bank of America Tower in Manhattan on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. The hosts include Rubio’s advisor Phil Rosen; Ben Heller, a philanthropist from Lawrence, NY; Veteran investment broker Eric Anton, Wayne Lee Berman from Blackstone, Jonathan Burkan, Vice President at Burkan Wealth Management Group; Former U.S. Ambassador to Malta Anthony Gioia, and Julian Gingold, a stockbroker at UBS Group, who supported Scott Walker before he dropped out of the race.

Rubio, fresh off the 4th GOP presidential debate, in which he was declared the winner, was in New York in the last few weeks for two well-attended Jewish fundraisers. The Florida Senator is said to have raised close to a quarter of a million dollars at the fundraisers hosted by Rosen in October and at the home of Howard Jonas in Riverdale last week.

The Republican presidential hopeful is currently polling in 3rd place, behind Donald Trump and Ben Carson, and running even with Ted Cruz in some early states’ polls.
