Biden to Speak at Reform Jewish Gathering in FL
Vice President Joe Biden is expected to address to a well-attended Jewish audience this week, just months after the debate over the Iran nuclear deal took place.
Biden will address the URJ Biennial conference in Orlando, Florida, at the closing plenary on Saturday, November 7, the organizers announced Monday.
The Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) represents 1.5 million reform Jews from nearly 900 congregations across the United States.
President Barack Obama addressed the conference in 2011. In 2013, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu became the first sitting prime minister to address the URJ Biennial, though he addressed the crowd via satellite.
