Netanyahu to Address Left-Leaning Policy Institute During DC Visit

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to address the liberal Center for American Progress during his upcoming visit to DC.

The event will take place on Tuesday, November 10th, at the Center for American Progress in Washington, DC, at 3:00 pm.

Netanyahu will discuss Iran, Israeli-Palestinian relations, regional concerns, and ways to strengthen the partnership between Israel and the United States, according to a news release.

The Center for American Progress is an independent nonpartisan policy institute that is devoted to promoting progressive ideas. The group called the Iran nuclear deal in July a “historic achievement” and “the best way to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.”

The Israeli prime minister is expected to be in town for a meeting with President Barack Obama in the Oval Office on November 9. He will also address the Jewish Federations General Assembly and receive an award by the conservative American Enterprise Institute (AEI).
