Former Vice President Joe Biden will participate in a virtual fundraiser with members of the Jewish community on May 19, according to an invite obtained by Jewish Insider

Tuning into the event, billed as a “virtual fireside chat,” costs $1,000 per person. Individuals who want a hosting role must raise or contribute $28,000. “As he speaks and answers questions, you will see that he is uniquely in touch with the values and priorities of our Jewish community,” former U.S. Ambassador to Israel Daniel Shapiro — who officially endorsed Biden in March — and his wife Julie wrote in a fundraising email on Thursday.
