Matthew Shea is the Washington reporter for Jewish Insider. Based on Capitol Hill, he covers Congress and the executive branch through the lens of Middle East policy — with a focus on Israel, antisemitism and the Jewish community.

Matthew holds a Master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where he specialized in Politics, Policy & Foreign Affairs. He is also a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism.
