Melissa Weiss is the executive editor of Jewish Insider. Prior to joining JI in August 2019, she spent nearly a decade working in strategic communications in the nonprofit sector.

Following time in Seoul, Washington, D.C., New York and Mexico City, she made aliyah in 2022 and currently lives in Tel Aviv. Melissa is a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism.
