Responsibilities: The Washington-based reporter will work alongside our D.C.-based team to cover the State Department and American diplomatic relations with Israel. The reporter will be expected to attend State Department briefings, and break news on issues involving U.S.-Israel relations.
They will contribute to JI’s Daily Kickoff newsletter and conduct interviews with key leaders and emerging voices and figures.
Qualifications: Prior journalism experience, passion for the coverage areas and overall news cycle, ability to multitask and manage multiple assignments, excellent social skills and strong initiative. Digital skills,
attention to detail and experience with newsletter production a strong plus.
