In NH, Trump Denounces ‘Nasty’ Anti-Israel Comment

Donald Trump on Thursday denounced anti-Israel rhetoric, pledging to continue the United States longstanding commitment to protect Israel’s security.

During a town hall meeting in Manchester, New Hampshire, an audience member asked Trump to comment on his opposition to “wasting our military in the Middle East on behalf of Zionist Israel.”

“Lemme just tell you that Israel is a very, very important ally of the United States and we are going to protect them one hundred percent,” Trump responded.

According to the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Israel has been America’s “most reliable and true friend” in the Middle East, “and we are going to protect Israel one hundred percent.”

After rejecting the man’s comments, Trump remarked: “That was a tough question on Israel. Whaa! That was nasty. Whoa!”

“Are we all for Israel, right?” he asked the audience, who applauded in kind.
