Graham Endorses Jeb for President

Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush received a high-profile endorsement on Friday, earning the endorsement of Senator Lindsey Graham, who dropped out of the race for president last month.

Jeb is “ready to be Commander in Chief on Day One,” Graham said during a press conference in South Carolina the morning after the 6th Republican presidential debate. “From all those running for president, he has the ability to bring the world together” to fight the war on ISIS.

“I believe Marco Rubio will be president one day. But I wasn’t ready to be president at 44,” Graham explained why he chose Jeb over Rubio.

Graham’s endorsement of Bush came after at least 10 of his campaign staffers and over a dozen of supporters announced their support of Bush’s presidential campaign.

Bush seemed to be delighted to receive the endorsement as the news broke in the morning while doing a live interview with Fox News. “His endorsement is very meaningful, and along with it comes a lot of friends and supporters of his so I’m excited about it,” Bush said on Fox and Friends. “I am honored to have his support.”
