Soros Regretted Supporting Obama Over Hillary
Jewish Billionaire George Soros expressed his regrets for supporting Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton after seeing her serve as Secretary of State, new emails released by the State Department show.
In an email dated May 12, 2012, Neera Tanden, President of the Center for American Progress, told Hillary of a conversation she had with Soros at a dinner sponsored by the Democracy Alliance, a liberal donor club.
“I sat next to George. Soros at dinner during the Democracy Alliance and after the topics of Europe and China, he started discussing President Obama,” wrote Tanden. “I told him I worked for you in the primaries and he said he’s been impressed that he can always call/meet with you on an issue of policy and said he hasn’t met with the President ever (though I thought he had).He then said he regretted his decision in the primary – he likes to admit mistakes when he makes them and that was one of them.”
Soros appears to have made up for the mistake by contributing more than $2 million to “Priorities USA” and “American Bridge 21st Century” – two pro-Hillary Super PACs – before she even declared her candidacy for president. In October of 2013, Soros donated $25,000 to become a co-chair of the National Finance Committee of “Ready for Hillary” super PAC.
