Rabbi Shmuley to Host Christie for Conversation on Israel

Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie is expected to take off a day of campaigning in New Hampshire to talk about his foreign policy vision and Israel in New York City next month.

Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, the founder of The World Values Network, will be hosting Christie for a conversation on “Foreign Policy, Israel, American Values and the Middle East” on January 7, 2016, according to poster posed by Boteach on his Instagram account.

In May, Christie was a featured speaker at the Champions of Jewish Values Awards Gala, hosted by Rabbi Shmuley Boteach and co-hosted by Dr. Miriam and Sheldon Adelson. Rabbi Shmuley arranged a meeting between Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel the New Jersey Governor ahead of the speech. Christie reportedly assured Wiesel that he would be the biggest friend in the White House Israel ever had.

Boteach also held a press conference with Christie urging NJ Senator Cory Booker to vote against the Iran nuclear deal.

But Boteach has also been called Ted Cruz’s favorite Rabbi. According to a report by The Daily Beast, Boteach as been introducing the Texas Senator and Christie’s rival for the GOP nomination to potential backers in the New York and Los Angeles Jewish communities. FullSizeRender
