Kasich in NYC: ‘I’ll Fight for Israel’

Republican presidential candidate John Kasich pledged to “fight” for Israel’s security during a recent visit to New York City.

Kasich was visiting New York, where has spotted dining with former Senator Al D’Amato and prominent Jewish real estate mogul Peter Kalikow at Club 101 on Park Avenue.

Kalikow endorsed Herman Cain in 2012. When Cain dropped out of the race, he formed a super PAC called “Cain Connections.” In 2016, he is listed as a contributor ($2,400) to Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign.

In an interview with the New York Post’s Page Six, while having lunch, the Ohio Governor said Israel “will endure” and “Israel’s our friend.”

“I’ll fight for it,” Kasich pledged. “It must and will survive. Never ever can we let their security be threatened.”
