Dan Senor hosts Congressman Paul Ryan

The New York Post’s Page Six reports in a post titled ‘Private Ryan party’ that Dan Señor, co-author of Start-Up Nation and former George W. Bush aide who advised Mitt Romney during the 2012 election, hosted Congressman Paul Ryan at his TriBeCa apartment this week.

Is Congressman Paul Ryan’s first stop on the 2016 presidential campaign trail in Manhattan? Mitt Romney’s former vice presidential running mate — who hasn’t ruled out his future interest in the Oval Office — was feted at Dan Senor and Campbell Brown’s TriBeCa apartment last night. Senor, the former George W. Bush aide who advised Ryan during the 2012 election, invited New York’s media elite to schmooze with the Wisconsin pol and potential presidential GOP candidate. “He’s reaching out to his base in the New York media complex,” one observer jabbed. The guest list included ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, Time’s Rick Stengel, WSJ’s Peggy Noonan, CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, “Morning Joe” hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski and New Yorker editor David Remnick. Ryan is reportedly writing a book about his life and political philosophy.
